you make me smile, please stay for awhile <3

I haven't blogged in awhile,
I've been preoccupied in school- okay no BIG lie,
I've just been (in love)
:D

So, my boyfriend and I made 6 months on saturday ^_^
-6 months down, and 74 & 3 quarters of years to go.

I used to think love consisted of fighting, anger, and obligation.
I also used to think Amsterdam was somewhere south of Illinois.
It wasn't until I met him, 7 months ago that I learned
just what it takes to truely love myself, my life, and another being.
My heart beat feels like it has meaning, and I wake up with the thought of him every morning, rather then the usual "ugh I despise mornings more then working in shoprite"
He pretty much gives meaning to it all, and the gives me the motivation to do it all,

Most people are too busy searching for love, when really love has to find you, they try to force love, and wind up faking their love just as much as they fake and force happiness, you can't force fate, and with others love is usually right under their nose- they just do not appreciate it until its gone, Love is all about trial and error, through it you learn the do's and don'ts of a successful relationship, everyone is different and not everybody may have the same pet peeves, with one arguement comes along days of happiness, because through trial and error you learn the important things about eachother, and the right ways to make things work with one another, so don't be discouraged by the arguements and downfalls of a relationship, it comes along with appreciating it all when it seems it cannot get any better.
note to self:
TRIAL AND ERROR MAKES IT BETTER
IN SOME TWISTED REVERSE
PHYSICOLOGICAL WAY. :)
and this is probably not making any sense, but love doesn't make sense. you can never sum how you truely feel, because when your in love, your feelings are endless; so when you try to explain just the way you feel you wind up in some tongue twister; only with your heart and your mind mixed in the blender.
He notices things about me I never noticed about myself,
Like when I'm texting and I'm upset I put a period after every 3 words,
Or how the tone of my voice, and my outfit for the day explains my mood in one word...
I would think he knows every detail about me, yet it seems we learn something new about eachother everyday.
He knows exactly how to make me upset;
yet never forgets how to make me laugh when I don't even wanna smile.
We plan for our future together, yet always live for the day.
I'm not afraid to try new things, and live life.
Some people would say I am out of my mind making one person my everything; espcially being so young, but love doesn't have an age or a limit on it.
I trust him enough to make him my best friend, my boyfriend, & happiness...
I cannot put a value on that, its the greatest feeling in the world.
Sharing everything from a big mac,
to kisses at midnight on new years.
whats mine is his and whats his is mine<3>

Love is; unconditional.
unconditionally making eachother happy, unconditionally loving the mate to your soul, unconditionally missing them even when their right there, unconditionally appreciating every little thing they do for you.
Love is about being unconditionally unconditional.

I
love
you
baby<3>

blah; eulogy speech for class- dont like it much

Desire Ramos

I‘ve gone back and forth for weeks on what defines a hero,
Is it somebody who signifies strength?
Is it somebody who defends the defenseless?
Maybe its somebody who has stood up for something in their lifetime.
Then it finally occurred to me
We are amongst heroes every day, our family, friends, and neighbors define the very meaning of heroism, they have all had to face some kind of hardship, even if we fail to realize it, everyone in their own ways have made it through with knowledge, and maturity gained from it.
Thus meaning there is no limited definition as to what a hero may be.
Also Meaning the choices for a eulogy subject are endless- Making this speech one of the hardest speeches I've ever been faced with.
I feel every family at one point and time survived something bigger then themselves - something that causes us to look back every now and then and recognize and appreciate our growth into maturity and adulthood.
The trials and tribulations of the average family is often looked past,
But in my eyes it is a victory which is worth celebrating, the triumph of our families, and the growth as a family unity.

Aldous Leonard Huxley once said,
"Experience is not what happens to a man
It is what a man does with what has happened to him."

Its not so much what you have had to face in life,
But what you have done since then to better yourself and family with not regret but appreciation of all troubles.

Every one of our family members have faced a time when they felt their fight may have been meaningless- and I think I speak for everyone when I say there are mornings where you may not always want to wake up from your dreams,Mornings where the hour glass may not only seem half empty, but as though it has sprung a leak. The fact that we do get up is what separates us from the weak, and even if we put on a counterfeit smile to go to school, or work the fact remains that we still got up, we draw the strength to continue to grow, and anyone who chooses to do so - anyone who chooses to keep living their life - deserves respect from older and younger generations alike.

For every person who has hit rock bottom,
Their up rise is usually what makes them a survivor
Whether they choose to forgive those who have hurt them is their own decision, it is also a rare decision.
We always seem to flinch at the men who inflict the pain, yet it never fails to applaud and look up to those who help us get through the rough times.
I think one of my biggest faults is being too optimistic,
For every reason you can find a negative aspect on somebody I can give you one positive aspect.
One of the people whom I look up too outside of everyone in my family now is not the traditional hero
-Not a survivor of something, not a man who signifies strength or defends the defenseless.
At one point and time in fact I hated the very thought of his existence- but over time I grew past his wrong doings, even if it has changed my life forever, I can actually thank the man who I once called dad for every wrong move he made. For every remark of hatred he spoke towards me, for the years of abuse toward my sister and I, and for the times he made me feel weak and alone - I can thank him for making me the strong individual I have become today.
He has also unintentionally assisted
in my discovery of the meaning forgiveness unknowingly he showed me how it is essential in life leaving the fine line between getting over things, and getting through them. Although hate is the easy way, forgiving my father without apology takes much more courage.
From a hurtful father, to a powerful mother,
A woman who I may not always indulge on in the best ways yet- I am most appreciative of, when financial situations reached the end of the rope, and she was left waking up to 4 kids on her own, my mother always found a reason to get up in the morning and strive for a better day, and for that fearless act I have found more and more reasons to be thankful of the superwoman who helped me keep my head up when I didn’t have enough strength to hold it up myself.
My parents although very different, have possessed qualities that give me reasons to look up to them.

Every member of my family infact have had some influence on who I have become today- They each lead individual lives of hardship, and triumph that remind me daily why I look up to them as a whole rather then each person individually, although I can look at each person differently with every accomplishment they have made,
from my brother who went from being in a gang to being a father, to my sister who experienced life as a rape victim, to life as a college graduate, to my grandfather who is a war veteran, and my grandma who was one child of 18 growing up in Puerto Rico, my family has made it clear every change they have made after every hardship they have experienced was to better the family as a whole- A eulogy is the least I can dedicate to them.
Everyone has faced something in life that was bigger then themselves, everyone has seen darker days of sorrow and pain which we later learn defy the existence of true happiness,
We all have our own idols
Whether it be family members, friends, or even a celebrity
Appreciate the heroes of your days, and let the lives of others inspire, educate and liberate a life of your own.
